Rechargeable Designer Flame Lamp

Inspired by candlelight and built like a piece of hardware, the Rechargeable Designer Flame Lamp brings the warmth of a flame to a table with none of its drawbacks. Glass, aluminium and a magnetic connection make up the whole object, and the light inside carries the same low amber tone that makes candlelight flattering in the first place, without wax, smoke or an open flame.

The magnetic element is the clever part: the lamp sits on its charging base by magnet, so lifting it off and dropping it back on is a single unthinking movement rather than a hunt for a socket in the dark. Touch controls handle brightness, and the LED is efficient enough that a single charge covers a long evening of service and a good deal more besides.

It is equally at home on a restaurant table, a hotel bedside, a bathroom shelf or a windowsill at home, and a row of them along a bar does something no overhead fitting can manage.
